Papa Roach will drop their new disc on Oct. 2. It's untitled as we speak. Frontman Jacoby Shaddix said, "We wanted to make a dynamic and explosive record that captures the raw emotions of life. We also wanted to incorporate the biological sounds of rock with a digital edge to have a fresh sound. This is our own version of what we think the radio should sound like. This is the soundtrack to my life and once again I went through some dark shit and came through thanks to the music." Bring on the bio-digital, boys! [10th Street Press Release]

"Scarlet," a new song by Periphery, had landed online after premiering on SiriusXM. Oh how it rips! The tune appears on the band's forthcoming platter II, which drops July 3. In the name of all that is patriotic, like the album's release week, give it a listen...now! [Metal Insider]

White Wizzard will return to the road this August for a brief, but high impact tour. The two-week, North American Assault trek will be supported by Icarus Witch and Widow. White Wizzard bassist Jon Leon said, "White Wizzard is excited to be doing an East Coast tour with the great bands Icarus Witch and Widow - both are fantastic and we think it is a fantastic bill. Come out if you want to see three bands doing traditional heavy metal and have a blast...See you there!" The tour launches Aug. 9 in Kansas City and wraps Aug. 25 in Atlanta. Thrash it up.
