Ozzy Osbourne Recommends Shrink for Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson

There's another chapter brewing in the heated Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne rivalry with Iron Maiden. Ozzy's missus went to battle with Maiden when they were on the main stage of the Ozzfest in 2005, pulling the plug on their power and taking shots at the band in the press, too, which caused singer Bruce Dickinson to retaliate by tossing barbs at Ozzy during their set. Talk about an occupational hazard and an awkward with a capital 'A' backstage atmosphere.

Ozzy told The Quietus that he "never said a bad f---ing thing" about Dickinson and that he only learned about the verbal insults on the penultimate night of the tour, which is when Sharon had people pelt Maiden with eggs ... like petulant children on Mischief Night. Ozzy said that he never understood the source of the beef between himself and Dickinson, but he did suggest that Dickinson see a "f---ing psychiatrist" and that the singer is "f---ing nuts." Maybe he should have his wife issue an apology, and the beef will be squashed.

Or even better, how about a group therapy session, a la Metallica's Some Kind of Monster? It would certainly make for good viewing, that's for sure.
