Owl are digging deeper into their latest album 'The Right Thing,' pulling out a rock classic guaranteed to satisfy. The band took on the Kinks' classic 'Destroyer,' placing their own stamp on the song, and Noisecreep is happy to bring you the exclusive premiere of the video.

Frontman Chris Wyse exclusively tells us, "'Destroyer' is a great high energy song that is a ton of fun to play. The Kinks classic felt like an Owl song to us, so it was a perfect fit to cover. The performance clips in the video really capture our personalities and the spirit of the song. We had such a blast shooting it."

The three-piece of Wyse, drummer Dan Dinsmore and guitarist Jason Achilles Mezilis do get a chance to shine in the clip, as they are filmed in black-and-white with performance shots interspersed with a guy who is clearly taking a verbal thrashing from his significant other. Who wouldn't want to don some Rock'em Sock'em robot-esque body armor after that? The end result is definitely something entertaining and rocking.

The 'Destroyer' video follows on the heels of the clip for 'The Right Thing's' title track, which previously premiered at Rolling Stone. If you like what you hear, Owl's 'The Right Thing' album is currently available via iTunes.

In related news, Wyse will soon rejoin his other band, The Cult, during their 'Electric 13' tour. Dates can be seen here.
