WORSHIP METAL: With a new studio album on the horizon, long time metallers Anthrax announced this week that would be gearing up for the road this summer prior to their forthcoming release ' Worship Music'. Starting in Europe on June 13, the tour will continue all the way through August. It's also been confirmed though that the band will be in the states though for their appearance at this year's Rocklahoma Festival in Pryor, OK on July 9 no worries on missing them in the U.S.

AMERICAN CARNAGE PLEASE: You know, every summer (and I know you guys can vouch with me on this one) there's always that one tour that just knocks the wind out of you, and makes you do things you never thought you would do. In the instance of Slayer and Megadeth teaming up after 15 years for a headlining tour in Canada; this is no exception. Just recently announced, the two founding fathers of thrash confirmed that they will be taking the stage this summer along with Roadrunner's Machine Head and Century Media's Suicide Silence for a Canadian run dubbed 'Canadian Carnage' from June 24 to June 29. So to anyone that may have issues crossing the border, get that straightened ASAP because you won't see a tour like this happen anytime soon.

MIDHEAVEN ON EARTH: After much travelling to Europe with friends in Protest The Hero and The Chariot, Hopeless Records' The Human Abstract have kicked off their first U.S. headlining tour with Oh, Sleeper, Iwrestledabearonce, and Vanna. Starting in Anaheim, CA this week the tour will run through to the end of May back in Hollywood, CA in support of their latest release 'Midheaven'.
