As they continue to work on their next studio album, Nightwish have announced a 2015 North American tour with the Dutch band Delain. It kicks off April 9 in New York.

VIP Meet & Greet tickets for the tour, which come with early entry and an official tour program, are available at this location.

Nightwish's new album will be their first studio effort with vocalist Floor Jansen (ReVamp), who took over as their touring vocalist in late 2012 after the exit of Anette Olzon. She was named a permanent member in October 2013, as was Troy Donockley (pipes, whistles, vocals).

They are also recording without drummer Jukka Nevalainen, who had to step away from the band due to chronic insomnia. Taking over behind the kit for the album is Wintersun drummer Kai Hahto.

Bassist/vocalist Marco Hietala says, “Hi to all! Our work on the new album has been going with serious productive speed and comfortable ease at the same time. It´s going to be great to get it out to you and play these pieces live."

Hietala continues, "And with this announcement it will obviously happen quite soon! Here are the dates for the North American shows. Come on over and we´ll raise hell and kick some arses together!”
