Napalm Death’s ‘Oh So Pseudo’ Is Oh So Brutal
Damn, Napalm Death just can’t stop melting faces. The grind pioneers just unleashed the fresh track “Oh So Pseudo” from their upcoming compilation of unreleased cuts, Coded Smears and More Uncommon Slurs.
“Oh So Pseudo” was recorded during the sessions for Apex Predator – Easy Meat, Napalm Death’s most recent full-length. The song would’ve fit perfectly within the 2015 album, so much that you can’t help but wonder why it was left out. Regardless, fans will be stoked to finally hear “Oh So Pseudo,” as it’s the first new piece of Napalm Death in three years.
“We are very thrilled to be finally releasing this compilation of rarities and covers from the past 10 years,” says bassist Shane Embury. “Napalm Death is a band that gives 100 percent when writing a song, so the songs included on this comp were originally for split EP’s now sold out or vinyl editions of our albums or to become Japanese bonus tracks. When I was compiling the track listing I was struck by how exciting again these tunes are to me. I had actually forgotten some of them, haha! We have written so many tracks and the years go by so quick that you forget just how fucking great these songs are! We will most certainly be blasting a few of these out live on our upcoming shows… Cheers and see you on the road!”
Coded Smears and More Uncommon Slurs will consist of 31 blistering tracks with a staggering 90-minute run time. The songs span from 2005’s The Code Is Red… Long Live the Code to Apex Predator – Easy Meat.
