Napalm Death + Melvins Announce 2016 North American Tour With Melt Banana

Napalm Death and MelvinsGet ready for the heaviest night of your life. Napalm Death and Melvins have teamed up for a monstrous North American tour with Japanese weird-merchants Melt Banana.

This tour will be a full-on assault on your senses and isn’t for the weak of heart, or for that matter, those with various heart conditions. Napalm Death and Melvins will storm across North America for a comprehensive tour beginning March 26 in Phoenix, Ariz. and ending May 8 in Los Angeles.

“We have been talking about doing a tour like this for a long time so we are thrilled it’s finally happening,” says Napalm Death bass player Shane Embury. “Having been long time fans and friends of the Melvins we are very happy to be embarking on this six-week tour of musical madness with them and Melt Banana. Expect the unexpected!”

Melvins frontman Buzz Osborne adds, “Napalm Death sounds like a gorilla on LSD firing a machine gun… and I mean that in a good way. We’re happy to be heading out with the ultimate grindcore pioneers.”

In other Melvins news, the band’s documentary Across the USA in 51 Days: The Movie!, which documented Melvins’ record breaking attempt at the fastest tour of all 50 states plus Washington D.C., is now available!
