My Darkest Days, ‘Sick and Twisted Affair': Exclusive Song Premiere
Next week, My Darkest Days will be releasing Sick and Twisted Affair, the Canadian group's sophomore album. Produced by Joey Moi (Nickelback, Daughtry), who also worked with the band on their 2010 eponymous debut album, the new record got off to a dashing start with its infectious first single, "Casual Sex."
With just a few days left till Sick and Twisted Affair hits stores, My Darkest Days is ready to unleash its title track, a shot to the heart that will surely please any fan of hooky melodic rock.
"The song is about when you are addicted to a love or a drug. You want to get away but it just pulls you back in. You cant go on without it, and you feel alive when you have it. It's a sick and twisted affair," My Darkest Days vocalist/guitarist Matt Walst told Noisecreep about the track.

Coinciding with the release of Sick and Twisted Affair, My Darkest Days will hit the road for the massive two and a half month Nickelback Here and Now Tour 2012 also starring Bush and Seether. The 39-city North American tour opens April 10 at the i wireless Center in Moline, Ill., and wraps up June 26 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, B.C.
