In anticipation of their forthcoming debut album, New Jersey's Mutiny Within -- one of Roadrunner Records' latest metal upstarts -- have some big touring plans in the works. Already underway with a quick run alongside Periphery, the band will open for Machine Head on their only U.S. headlining date this year in Long Island later this week, and will then hit the road with Arch Enemy, Exodus and Arsis in January of next year.

Founding member and bassist Andrew 'A.J.' Jacobs comments on the upcoming shows, telling Noisecreep, "First off, playing with Machine Head is going to be the coolest. MH are a perfect example of where we'd like to be someday, especially through Roadrunner Records. They've got tons of dedicated fans around the world, [are] a great band, and it's a pleasure to open their show this Thursday."

As for the full North American trek early next year, Jacobs continues, "We absolutely can't wait. We used to watch [Arch Enemy's] live DVD and blast it as loud as we could. They've got tasteful guitar work, memorable songs and a one of a kind frontwoman -- they're an inspiration, and we're honored that they're taking us out this winter. Also, to be playing alongside Arsis and Exodus will be awesome. Both bands are sick!"

Mutiny Within will be appearing at The Crazy Donkey Nov. 12 with Machine Head as part of their ongoing tour with Periphery.

The band will be releasing their much-anticipated self-titled debut on Roadrunner Records this February.
