It was last May at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards when Anthrax's Scott Ian and his wife Pearl Aday first spoke with Loudwire about their love of the band Mother Superior and their plans to record new music with the band's Jim Wilson. Now, just shy of a year later, fans are about to see the returns of that project and one of the first teases comes in the form of a studio video for 'Fork in the Road.'

The group, who are utilizing the moniker Motor Sister, consists of Ian, Aday and Wilson, as well as drummer John Tempesta and bassist Joey Vera. The collective gathered on Scott Ian's 50th birthday for a jam session of Ian's favorite Mother Superior tunes and it all evolved from there.

Pearl Aday told us last year, "I was a fan of their music and when I met Scott in 2000, he was friends with them. And I think the first time I saw them was at the Viper Room and [Scott] wanted to introduce me because I was such a dorky fan, so we went to see them play and we just became friends from there on. We’ve been friends ever since. And I’ve been writing music with Jim Wilson for years now."

Wilson told ARTISTdirect, who premiered the video, "We recorded the whole album in a circle playing together as a band, which hardly anyone does anymore. If anybody screwed up, we'd start over until we had the perfect take. In the stereo mix, Scott's guitar is on the left and mine's on the right. Turn it up!"

Check out the video above and if you like what you hear, be sure to pick up the band's 'Ride' album, due March 10 via Metal Blade. You can get your orders in for a variety of bundle packages here. Check out the track listing for the album below.
