MetalSucks.net, Indie Merch Store and Live Nation have established an unholy and nefarious alliance to bring East Coasters the first ever Metal Suckfest at New York City's Gramercy Theater, which will be held Nov. 3th through Nov. 5th.

"There aren't a whole lot of metal festivals in the US, so we wanted to put something together that was unique -- not just a combination of whatever package tours happened to be going out at the time -- and, of course, reflected our own tastes as metalheads. We're SO stoked on all the bands we were able to get; it's going to be two totally awesome, yet different, days of metal madness. This is just the beginning; we're looking to make this fest as big as possible in the coming years," said resident Sucker Vince Neilstein in a statement.

Here's the key details: Metal Suckfest kicks off Thursday, Nov. 3th at 7:00 PM, with the official Pre-Game featuring Mayhem. The actual, official fest shows take place Nov. 4 and Nov. 5. Three day passes are available for only $75 and two day passes for just $30 (Friday and Saturday) and can be purchased at Live Nation. That's quite an affordable price for all this metal!

Fans will be automatically entered into the MetalSucks "Meet and Greet Swag Bag Giveaway" with online ticket purchase. One lucky winner for each day (Friday and Saturday only) will be announced one week prior to the show. The winner will be able to meet with the bands backstage before the concert, listen to their sound check and will receive a bag full of swag put together by MetalSucks.net! If the winner is truly lucky, he or she just might run into Neilstein and his wily partner Axl Rosenberg on site.
