Suicide Silence Mitch Lucker Death: Fans Organize Vigil Near Accident Scene (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

Chris Epting

The heavy metal world is still in shock from yesterday’s news that Suicide Silence singer Mitch Lucker had died on Halloween night after a motorcycle crash at the age of 28. The vocalist was riding his new Harley Davidson when he slammed into a light pole after losing control of the bike.

Hundreds of Suicide Silence fans gathered near the site of the accident scene in Huntington Beach, Calif. last night (Nov. 1) in honor of Lucker. Noisecreep stopped by the site — which is located at the intersection of 13th and Main streets — this morning and snapped some shots (seen above and below) of the candles, flowers and Suicide Silence merchandise left by the fans of the group.

Read on to check out a television report about Lucker’s death and last night’s vigil.
