Hanoi Rocks frontman Michael Monroe is going it solo for his latest album. 'Horns and Halos' is due in stores Aug. 27 and Noisecreep is proud to exclusively preview the driving new rock single, 'Eighteen Angels.'

This foot-stomper of a track is a straight-head rocker, complete with tambourine and sharp-edged guitar work from axemen Steve Conte and Dregen as Monroe belts about eventually "getting his wings." In addition to Monroe, Conte and Dregen, the frontman's lineup is rounded out by bassist Sami Yaffa and drummer Karl Rosqvist.

Monroe exclusively told Noisecreep,"'Eighteen Angels' is one of my favorite songs off the new album 'Horns And Halos.' It has a great groove and it really shows how this band has welded into a tight unit over the past couple of years. Hope you dig it too!"

'Eighteen Angels' follows on the heels of the recent single, 'Ballad of the Lower East Side,' which was the singer's nod to his early days coming up through the musical ranks in New York City.
