Recently, shred guitar wizard Michael Angelo Batio brought his heralded show, Hands Without Shadows - a Tribute to Rock Guitar to the Musicians Institute in Hollywood to play for students and other guests.

The show, which features the celebrated Chicago guitarist (and full band) shredding through classics by Jimi Hendrix, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin and more, is always a hot ticket. Noisecreep was there to speak with Batio before he took the stage to get a sense of his influences, the show and how he manages to do what he does - play at a blinding speed that at times defies logic.

The show didn't just feature shredding. Given all of the students in attendance, Batio also built in some time for a Q&A segment and then did a meet and greet afterwards - a thrill and honor for many of the up and coming guitarists in the house.

Check out Noisecreep's exclusive video interview with Batio below along with some live footage shot during the concert.
