The employees of Salesforce.com were fortunate enough to have Metallica play the company's private party in San Francisco on Feb. 9. Guitarist Kirk Hammett is friends with the company's CEO, and the band played a previous Salesforce.com event in 2011. Now official footage from the show has been released that you can check out above.

The MetOnTour footage features the band warming up in the tuning room with "Cyanide" followed by a performance of "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)" from the concert itself.

Meanwhile, the second edition of Hammett's Fear FestEvil music and horror event is coming up April 10-12 in San Jose, Calif. Corey Taylor, Slash and John 5 will take part in a panel at the event. Meshuggah, High on Fire, Agnostic Front, Orchid, Blues Pills and Asada Messiah will be the musical entertainment for Fear FestEvil. Tickets for the event are on sale here.

Metallica continue to work on a new album and will also play some shows this spring and summer. They are on the bill for the inaugural U.S. version of the Rock in Rio festival, which will be held in Las Vegas May 8-9. Also playing at the festival will be Linkin Park, Rise Against, Hollywood Undead, Deftones, Sepultura, Coheed & Cambria and Of Mice & Men and more.

The band also has several European festivals on their calendar beginning with Grune Holle Rock in Nuremberg, Germany on May 29.
