Last week, Metallica celebrated their 30th anniversary with a run of four special shows at the Fillmore in San Francisco. The gigs brought plenty of guest appearances and reunions with former members, and each night, the metal titans debuted an unreleased song dating back to the sessions for 2008's 'Death Magnetic.'

Immediately following each concert, the band emailed that night's debuted track to fan club members, but now everyone -- or at least everyone with at least $1.29 to spare -- has a chance to hear the new-old material. That's because 'Tallica has made all four songs, collected as the 'Beyond Magnetic,' EP, available on iTunes.

"They are the rough mixes, unfinished to their original degree of mixing from March of 2008, and those of you with very keen senses of sound might recognize bits and pieces from the 'Mission Metallica' videos posted in the summer of 2008," read a post on the band's website.

The band has also revealed plans for another "special interactive fan event" due to take place in June of next year, hinting, "... we may ask you to do a little traveling again."

The world premiere of unreleased 'Lulu' tracks in Antarctica, perhaps?
