It's hard to believe that throughout their three-decade-long career, there are still a few countries where Metallica haven't played. The band can soon check India off that list, as they will be playing two shows in the country for the first time ever this fall.

Metallica will perform in Delhi on October 28th, followed by a concert in Bangalore on October 30th as part of Sonisphere. The tickets for the band's Indian shows go on sale tomorrow, so if you want to travel halfway around the world, soak up a little South Asian culture, and bang your head, you better snatch up some tickets ASAP.

In other Metallica news, the East Coast Big Four date has been announced, with the unholy quartet of Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, and Anthrax bringing copious amounts of thrash to the new Yankees Stadium in The Bronx on September 14th. Coincidentally, the show takes place the day after Dave Mustaine's 50th birthday. Maybe the other bands can belt out a thrashtacular version of 'Happy Birthday' during the Big Four All-Star Jam.
