The month of September keeps getting busier for the world's biggest metal band. Metallica will be live streaming their Global Citizen Festival performance tomorrow (Sept. 24), will be making an appearance on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and have secured yet another exclusive performance, booking a spot on The Howard Stern Show.

The legendary shock rocker will host the Bay Area thrash veterans as they tear through an in-studio performance on Sept. 26 on SiriusXM's Howard 100 channel. The group promises to mix in new material from the long-awaited Hardwired... To Self-Destruct record along with classics spanning their three decade-plus career.

But wait, there's more! Metallica will also be recording a special edition of SiriusXM's 'Town Hall' series, which has previously featured musical megastars like Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Willie Nelson, KISS, Ringo Starr, Elton John, Roger Waters, the surviving members of Nirvana, Gregg Allman. The David Fricke-hosted event will air on Nov. 17 (one day before the new album's release) at 5PM ET on both SiriusXM's Octane (channel 37) as well as the rebooted 'Mandatory Metallica' station which will return for a limited run on Nov. 16.

'Mandatory Metallica' debuted in 2009 and once more in 2013 in conjunction with the band's appearance at the iconic Apollo Theater. Other notable rock and metal artists to receive their own station on the satellite radio provider include Ozzy Osbourne, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd and Bruce Springsteen.

In mid-August, Metallica dropped the details to Hardwired... To Self-Destruct, the band's first double studio album, as well as a music video for the opening track, "Hardwired." The album will be out Nov. 18 through the band's own Blackened Recordings and pre-orders can be placed here.
