Metallica Drummer Lars Ulrich Is Engaged!

Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich is engaged. The skinsman, who is prepping for an appearance and performance at next week's Comic-Con and the release of the band's 3D film 'Metallica Through the Never' this fall, is planning to walk down the aisle with model Jessica Miller.

Las Vegas Informer reports that the newly-engaged duo celebrated their status at a dinner at N9NE Steakhouse at the Palms Casino Resort on Monday, July 8. Miller, a Las Vegas native, was flanked by her father and one of Ulrich's sons. They feasted on sea scallops and mahi-mahi.

Ulrich, 49, was previously wed to Debbie Jones from 1988 to 1990 and then to Skylar Satenstein, with whom he has two sons, Miles and Layne, from 1997 to 2004. He dated fellow Dane, actress Connie Nielsen of 'Gladiator' fame, from 2004 to 2012. They have a son, Bryce, 6.

Miller, 29, apparently likes the rockers. According to reports, she previously dated Incubus singer Brandon Boyd and System of a Down guitarist Daron Malakian.

Congrats to Ulrich and Miller on their impending nuptials.
