Metallica to Appear on Ray Davies’ ‘See My Friends’ Album

Metallica jammed with former Kinks frontman Ray Davies at last year's 25th anniversary concert celebrating the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. Now that kinetic, onstage energy will be converted to tape as Metallica are confirmed to appear on Davies' forthcoming platter, 'See My Friends,' where he collaborates with other artists on Kinks songs.

Metallica rock with Davies on 'You Really Got Me,' which is one of the Kinks' biggest hits.

'See My Friends' hits shelves on Nov. 1 and also boasts Davies musically sparring with Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, Billy Corgan and Bruce Springsteen, among others.
