Metalhead Proposes to Girlfriend Onstage at Amon Amarth Show

If your girlfriend is happy to spend Valentine’s Day seeing Amon Amarth, Enslaved + Skeletonwitch live, you’ve got yourself a keeper. Obviously, this dude already knew that, so to make Valentine’s Day even more special / metal, he proposed to his girlfriend onstage at the show.

Amon Amarth, Enslaved + Skeletonwitch spent Valentine’s Day caving in skulls while performing in San Francisco. Unbeknownst to the acts, a marriage proposal would go down onstage between Skeletonwitch and Enslaved’s sets. According to MetalSucks, the husband-to-be convinced the Regency venue staff and the touring bands to allow his marriage proposal to happen onstage. Thankfully, the fan was given a thumbs-up.

The San Francisco crowd roared as the fan got down on one knee and popped the question of all questions. “I love you more than anything I’ve ever known,” he began. “You’re the most important thing I’ve ever had in my life. Will you spend the rest of our metal lives together with me?” Of course, she said yes and the male fan flashed his horns to the crowd before walking off stage hand-in-hand with his new fiancée.

Amon Amarth frontman Johan Hegg apparently congratulated the couple by raising a toast during the band’s headlining performance.
