There's plenty of metal and hard rock set to hit store shelves this April, which looks like it could be this year's most extreme month yet.

Early next month, Asking Alexandria scream their way into our hearts with 'Reckless and Relentless,' while Varg Vikernes pumps out a new full-length slab of Burzum's patented blackness entitled 'Fallen.'

Metal Blade offers three new releases on April 12th, including Between the Buried and Me's first EP for the label, a new Bison BC sludge-fest, and a Pentagram album.

Other highlights include Winds of Plague's 'Against the World,' which hits stores in the third week of April, as well as a new release from extreme metallers Krallice.
