We're inching closer to the release of Metal Allegiance's debut disc and the all-star collective is giving fans yet another taste of new music. They've just unleashed a new lyric video for the song "Can't Kill the Devil" off their upcoming self-titled release.

For those not in the know, Metal Allegiance formed with a number of well-known musicians from some of metal's top bands who performed a handful of concerts taking on familiar favorite covers saluting the metal genre. But, over time, some of the core members decided to take things to the next level, organizing an album of original material featuring some of metal's top names.

For "Can't Kill the Devil," Testament's Chuck Billy and Alex Skolnick are joined by Machine Head guitarist Phil Demmel, Sepultura guitarist Andreas Kisser, Megadeth bassist David Ellefson and The Winery Dogs drummer Mike Portnoy.

“I am very honored to be a part of the Metal Allegiance record. The track ‘Can't Kill The Devil’ was fun and challenging for me,” states vocalist Chuck Billy. “Working outside of Testament lets me try different things with my voice. I think the fans are going to be singing along to this track for sure.” Guitarist Phil Demmel adds, “So stoked to throw down with legends!"

The band recently teased another track -- "Gift of Pain" -- which featured Skolnick, Ellefson and Portnoy joined by Lamb of God's Randy Blythe and Slayer's Gary Holt. Look for new studio webisodes from the band every Wednesday leading up to the album's Sept. 18 release.

Pre-order information for the album will be announced soon.
