Memphis May Fire Team With Sleeping With Sirens’ Kellin Quinn for ‘Miles Away’ Video

Memphis May Fire have stripped down — musically speaking — for this intimate, acoustic video for ‘MIles Away,’ featuring Sleeping With Sirens‘ Kellin Quinn.

The footage was captured at the 2013 Vans Warped Tour, so it also provides an inside look at what happens during the downtime that inevitably creeps up while on the road.

Since the song is contemplative and super impactful in this acoustic rendering, the images that develop and unfold during the performance — singer Matty Mullins making the most of Facetime on an iPhone, exchanging longing gazes and glances with the girl he is communicating with — help further the notion of yearning for and missing the one you love.

Here, Memphis May Fire perform in a way that advances the idea of having a heavy heart. Much of the performance footage was filmed in the front lounge of a tour bus, with clips from the road sprinkled along the way. Therefore, it gives you both an inside and outside look and perspective.
