Megadeth, ‘Rust in Peace Live’ — New Album/DVD

For a whole month this year, Megadeth played 'Rust in Peace' in its entirety live. Due out on September 7, 'Rust in Peace Live' captures this 20th anniversary event -- that includes original bassist Dave Ellefson's first shows with the band in years -- with a recording from the final night of tour at the Hollywood Palladuim, a mere stone's throw from where the band was first formed.

"We are pumped to be able to share the 'RIP Live' concert with you all around the world. The anniversary and David Ellefson coming back was better than a facelift and a bottle of Viagra for old Vic," says Mustaine.

The DVD/Blu-ray version was captured under the direction of Kerry Asmussen (Green Day, Coachella). Included also is behind-the-scene footage and dressing room rehearsals from the band before they took the stage, as well as songs spanning the legendary band's entire canon.
