Megadeth bassist David Ellefson has announced another new roast as part of his ever-expanding line of coffees offered through the Ellefson Coffee Co. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month which takes place every October, the company has teamed with The Rose, a breast cancer charity based out of Houston, Texas to bring a new light roast, “Rock N’ Rose.”

This addition will replace the retired light roast “She-Wolf” and is a blend of premium Nicaraguan and Ethiopian coffees. “We wanted to introduce a new roast to replace the recently retired ‘She-Wolf’ and with October being breast cancer awareness month, we thought it would be a great opportunity to pair up with an amazing charity like The Rose and help to raise support for breast cancer awareness. It is a rich, full blend light roast, with some extra kick, that we are sure everyone is going to love,” comments Ellefson.

For every bag of “Rock N’ Rose” sold, a portion of the proceeds will benefit The Rose, the leading nonprofit breast cancer organization in southeast Texas. To place your order, head to the coffee company’s website and for more information on The Rose, click here.

The Ellefson Coffee Co. now offers four different roasts, “Kenya Thrash,” “Roast in Peace” and “Urban Legend” in addition to the freshly announced “Rock N’ Rose.” “After the huge reaction to our initial offering ‘Roast in Peace,’ we have continued to add new blends and explore new ways to meet the wants and needs of the ECC customer,” the bassist added. “As a huge coffee lover myself, I have been blessed to be able to travel the World, and explore the best coffee it has to offer. And we have brought that sort of international rock ‘n’ roll attitude to Ellefson Coffee Co.”

In April earlier this year, the Ellefson Coffee Co. opened its first brick and mortar location in in the bassist’s home town of Jackson, Minnesota. The location is also home to the Museum of Deth, which features Ellefson’s personal memorabilia like his high school marching band uniform as well as other things he’s collected from other artists while out on the road.
