MegadethWhen interviewing Dave Mustaine, one can usually expect the topics of world politics, the most recent Megadeth release and Metallica to arise. Alcohol was brought up in a recent conversation, and Mustaine referenced 'Sex and the City' as an inspiration for his handle on consumption.

In a scene where two women are talking about sex with an older man, one points out a person she'd recently slept with and comments on his dumpy rear, despite his grade-A bed skills. "I don't really think that anyone's really gonna see me walking around naked," Mustaine said. "But I definitely get the message here."

His sexual appeal isn't the only thing he hopes to preserve. Taking care of himself and not being a "slave to the bottle" is a system of gratitude he's developed with God and, he says, "to what he's gifted me with my playing ability." Although he recently slammed Roadrunner, his record label, regarding their poor promotion of 'Endgame,' he feels that it's one of the best Megadeth records in years. They utilized chats and frequent live updates on the Internet during its recording, and he believes the band's accessibility kept more people connected to the album's development.

Megadeth continue to tour America through mid December in support of 'Endgame.'
