The first-ever Mayhem Festival Cruise won't be setting sail after all. It has been canceled. It was set for Dec. 7 through Dec. 10, leaving port in Miami and with plans to move full speed ahead to the Bahamas before returning. Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Fest alums like Lamb of God, Hatebreed, Machine Head, Suicide Silence and Anthrax were all set to appear.

"Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we have been forced to cancel the Mayhem Festival Cruise," said the organizers. Anyone who purchased a tour package will be refunded. The powers-that-be are also offering anyone who bought a cruise ticket a lifetime complimentary pass to the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival summer tour, in addition to the refund. This pass will be valid on any tour date beginning in 2013. Details on the receipt of lifetime passes will be announced shortly. [MayhemCruise.com]

Job for a Cowboy dropped their video for "Tarnished Gluttony." What a rad title, right? The clip is nine-minutes long, so you will need to invest a few moments of your day in it. Frontman Jonny Davey addressed the video, saying, "'Tarnished Gluttony' originally runs off the idea of blind faith into our government and monetary system. The director ran with the idea and spliced it with a H.P. Lovecraftian twist. The video streams the fascination of religion and the actions people justify in the name of religion, and this video is a spin on the old biblical tale of Abraham and Isaac, however, set in the world of Lovecraftian mythology. The point is, acting blindly in faith to a Christian deity is just as absurd as worshiping squid like monsters from space who live under the sea." Whew. That was a mouthful. The director Michael Pandoro was more succinct, joking that the vid has "no boobs." Boo for no boobies! [Via Bloody Disgusting]
