Maryland Deathfest will bring death and brutality back to Baltimore for the 17th year in May of 2019 and the fest has just revealed the first 25 bands slated for next year's lineup.
The 2018 edition of the fest just wrapped up and featured banner acts like Godflesh, Satyricon, Eyehategod, Master's Hammer, Pig Destroyer and dozens of others. Immolation lead the first wave for the 2019 installment and you can see the full list of newly announced bands below. Blood, Unanimated, Violator and Vomitory will all be making exclusive U.S. appearances.

Maryland Deathfest XVII will once again be held at adjacent venues Rams Head Live and Baltimore Soundstage. The three-day event will take place on the weekend of May 23 through 26 and early bird tickets are on sale now here.
Sweden's Vomitory put the band to rest in 2013, but reunited last year for a one-off show. With 2019 marking the 30th anniversary of the group, they've made plans to return to stages across the globe. "The band had such a good time playing again that the thought of future battles together started to grow like a seed in blood-drenched soil," they said in a statement.
