Mark ‘Bam Bam’ McConnell Dead: Former Sebastian Bach Drummer Passes Away

Mark "Bam Bam" McConnell has died. He is best known as former Skid Row vocalist Sebastian Bach's touring drummer from 1997-2005.

Bach noted on his Facebook page recently that McConnell was very ill.

McConnell's liver and kidneys shut down, which lead to brain damage. A relative confirmed the news via Facebook:

"Mark passed at 9:42 this morning surrounded by family and close friends. We will miss him...he was precious to all of us and touched all our hearts deeply and profoundly. On behalf of our family thank you to all of you for your prayers and support."

McConnell also played in the Southern rock band Blackfoot for a short time.
