Marduk Plan North American Tour with Rotting Christ + More

Swedish blasphemers Marduk are headed back to North America for a September tour. The bill is a veritable United Nations of extreme metal bands with Greece's Rotting Christ, Netherlands' Carach Angren and Canada's Necronomicon also on the trek. The run kicks off Sept. 2 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Marduk's latest album Frontschwein was released in January of 2015. Before their North American shows, the band has plenty of other touring scheduled, and they are currently in the midst of a European run right now.

Rotting Christ are touring in support of their latest album Rituals, which was released in February. In a recent interview, frontman Sakis Tolis talked about the response to the album, saying, "An album cannot be liked by everyone but I am really honored that our last opus spoke positively among the great majority of our fans around. This is an album that took me more than a year to compose, more than a year of meditation and research of cultures all around. I do not know if this is our best album yet but definitely our darkest and maybe the most atmospheric release."

Carach Angren are rocking headlong into their support of 2015's This Is No Fairytale. Meanwhile, Necronomicon will be promoting their latest record, Advent of the Human God.
