Madder MortemAvant-metallers Madder Mortem are offering up a new EP this May, dubbed 'Where Dream & Day Collide.' The EP features three brand new songs, in addition to single and album versions of the title cut, which appeared on 2008's 'Eight Ways.' So if you can't get enough of ethereal, female-fronted prog-metal, then this 'Where Dream & Day Collide' will suit your daydreaming fancy.

The artwork for the 'Where Dream & Day Collide' EP was rendered by Christian Ruud, who is also responsible for the breathtaking, animated visuals for the video. You will definitely feel transported to a dream world while watching this video, so sit back, relax, watch and let go.

The track listing for 'Where Dream & Day Collide' is as follows:

1. 'Where Dream & Day Collide' (single edit version)

2. 'Jitterheart'

3. 'The Purest Strain'

4. 'Quietude'

5. 'Where Dream & Day Collide' (album version)

Agnete Kirkevaag told Noisecreep, "We're sort of doing the EP to promote the video. Also, we've never released an EP before, and it was a good time for us to do some of the more off-beat stuff we've been toying around with." In addition to the video, there are three completely new songs, specially written for this EP, which make it a must-have for fans!

Kirkevaag said, "Where EPs mostly have cover songs or B-side tracks, we've tried to select ideas that were a little off-kilter, a little strange, if you will, and there's a common thread between 'Where Dream & Day Collide' and the other songs in that we're really experimenting with genres: the bluesy stuff from 'WDADC' set up against for instance the swing jazz vibe of 'The Purest Strain,' one of the new songs."
