As was expected, Linkin Park have officially canceled their “One More Light” North American tour in the wake of the death of vocalist Chester Bennington. The band has yet to release an official statement regarding the loss of Bennington, but their social media accounts have shared a statement issued by promoter Live Nation about the tour.

“We are incredibly saddened to hear about the passing of Chester Bennington. The Linkin Park ‘One More Light’ North American Tour has been cancelled and refunds are available at point of purchase. Our thoughts go out to all those affected,” reads the statement from Live Nation.

Linkin Park wrapped a European tour earlier this month and were set to start a “One More Light” North American leg on July 27 in Mansfield, Mass. The tour was set to also feature Machine Gun Kelly and included dates with a wide array of acts including select shows with Blink-182, Wu-Tang Clan and Snoop Dogg.

Bennington was found at his Palos Verdes residence Thursday morning (July 20) dead from an apparent suicide. The death was felt by many of Bennington’s peers in the music industry and a collection of social media postings can be found here.
