This is shaping up to be a big day for Linkin Park. In addition to releasing their new single, "Burn It Down," to radio (check out the new lyric video below), the California nü-metal titans have announced details on their forthcoming fifth studio album. It's called Living Things, MTV.com reports, and it arrives June 26.

That drop date should give fans plenty of time to acquaint themselves with the new tunes and prepare to sing along in August, when Linkin Park hits the road with Incubus on the 2012 Honda Civic Tour. The trek -- also announced today -- begins Aug. 11 in Bristow, Va., and concludes Sept. 10 in San Diego.

"This album is a really great representation of where we're at right now as a band," singer Chester Bennington told MTV.com. "We're kind of really comfortable with our early nü-metal days, and we're really comfortable with where we're at in our more contemporary version of ourselves; so this is a good representation of that comfort level with our own identity as a band."
