Lamb of God vocalist Randy Blythe joined Danzig and Doyle of the Misfits fame onstage at the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany this past weekend. Blythe sang 'Last Caress' with the duo. You can enjoy some fan-filmed footage -- complete with personal headbanging engaged in by the cameraperson -- above.

Blythe, who has documented some of his travels during his legal dramas in the Czech Republic via his Instagram feed, also shared what it was like to take the stage with two punk rock legends on his page, complete with photo. Judging from the excitement with which Blythe writes, this experience was one of the best of his metal life. He doesn't attempt to hide his fanboyness, either. His joy was pure and unadulterated.

Wacken Fest, Germany. Danzig killed it, plus he had Doyle from the Misfits playing Misfits tunes with him- I was side stage rocking out, then all of the sudden I got called out to sing "Last Caress" with them in front of 80k fans. It was an INTENSE moment for me, as I am a HUGE Misfits freak since high school- I SANG the song the old school way, no screaming or metal voice crap- it was AWESOME. Hung out with Danzig & crew all night- more pictures later. Hails to the kings of horror punk! #yeswefuckingare138! #fiendforlife #misfits
