Lamb of God

Different fans have different demands, which is why Lamb of God have decided to celebrate their 15th anniversary as a band by releasing seven different 'Hourglass' career retrospectives. Packages range from the single-CD releases to multi-disc vinyl and CD sets loaded with fan collectibles.

'Hourglass' will be released in multiple formats, giving the band's fans an opportunity to experience the music in compact disc, vinyl and digital configurations. In addition, there will be two deluxe packages, including extra goodies and groundbreaking packaging.

The releases

'Hourglass: Vol. 1 -- The Underground Years'

Contains 13 songs from the band's early years. The material was culled from the group's first album the self-titled Burn the Priest (before they changed their name to Lamb of God), their debut as Lamb of God, 'New American Gospel,' and the critically acclaimed 'As The Palaces Burn.'

'Hourglass: Vol. 2 -- The Epic Years'

Features 13 songs from Lamb of God's years on Epic Records. The disc includes both of the band's Grammy-nominated songs 'Redneck' and 'Set to Fail,' as well as fan favorites from 'Ashes of the Wake,' 'Sacrament' and 'Wrath.'

'Hourglass: The 3-CD Anthology'

This package is comprised of 44 tracks on three CDs -- the first two 'Hourglass' volumes along with a third disc of 18 rare and previously unreleased songs, including Japanese issued bonus tracks, multiple rehearsal demos and the eight songs recorded prior to 'Burn the Priest.'

'Hourglass: The Vinyl Box Set'

For vinyl purists, the package contains all six Lamb of God studio albums -- 'Burn the Priest,' 'New American Gospel,' 'As the Palaces Burn,' 'Ashes of the Wake,' 'Sacrament' and 'Wrath' on 180-gram vinyl in a linen-wrapped collector's box.

'Hourglass: The USB Box Set'

For those up on technology, the set features all six Lamb of God studio albums on individual USB drives in a cigarette box-shaped collectors package.

'Hourglass: The Deluxe Set'

The collectors set including the three-disc 'Anthology,' 'The Vinyl Box Set,' 'The USB Box Set,' and a linen-bound, 144-page book of the art of Lamb of God as created by K3n Adams, including designs for tour passes, albums, T-shirts and artist commentary.

'Hourglass: The Super Deluxe Set'

The limited edition collectors set includes the three-CD 'Anthology,' 'The Vinyl Box Set,' 'The USB Box Set,' the art book, a Mark Morton Signature Series Jackson Dominion D2, a four inch by six inch pure American metal flag, an 'Hourglass' sticker and a signed eight-by-10 in a personalized Lamb of God coffin case.

To support the 'Hourglass' packages, the band will be appearing on the main stage of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, which launches July 10 in San Bernardino, Calif. and runs through Aug. 14 in Oklahoma City. The band will also be playing off-dates with Hatebreed and 3 Inches of Blood.
