Things are starting to heat up for Lacuna Coil as the band nears the May 27 street date for their Delirium album. The group just unleashed their hard-hitting new lyric video for "The House of Shame" over at Revolver and they're getting ready to start touring in support of the disc.

As for the new song, you can check it out in the player above. The lyric video begins with vocalist Andrea Ferro screaming the demands "Run" and "Rise" as the force of drums and guitar play out behind him. Heavy bass work continues to follow him through the verses until co-vocalist Cristina Scabbia enters the picture, giving the chorus a more melodic sound. Take a listen in the dark lyric video above.

As stated, "The House of Shame" will appear on the Delirium album. Singer Cristina Scabbia states of the disc, "Everything feels different this time in the Lacuna Coil camp. It’s something I can hear it and something I can breath. A new wave of confidence, a renewed essence and pure drops of energy sweating out of our pores. I can’t wait to show it to all my friends and welcome you all once again in our family. Trust me, this is a Delirium you will feel the need to be part of." Ferro adds, "Delirium is not the beginning of a new chapter in Lacuna Coil‘s life; it is the beginning of a new book! We’re really excited about starting this touring cycle with such a fresh vibe, meeting old and new friends around the U.S. and get such great touring companions. We’re just writing the first page of this book and it is already a crazy one."

You can look for Lacuna Coil returning to the road in May with Butcher Babies, 9Electric and Painted Wives joining in on a majority of the dates. The trek launches May 7 in San Francisco and continues through May 26 in Uncasville, Ct. See the dates below.
