Lacuna Coil, Love + Death + More Added to ShipRocked 2014 Lineup

The annual ShipRocked cruise has added several more bands to the bill. Lacuna Coil, Love and Death, Art of Dying, Butcher Babies, Scorpion Child and Wilson will all be playing aboard the five-day cruise.

Rock and metal fans will board the Norwegian Pearl for the Jan. 26-30 cruise from Miami to a private island in the Bahamas. As previously announced, headliners for the 2014 edition of ShipRocked will be Five Finger Death Punch.

Numerous other bands will join 5FDP on the ship, including Papa Roach, Three Days Grace, Device, Sevendust, In This Moment, Candlebox, The Halo Method, Nonpoint, Aranda, Young Guns, Crash Kings, American Fangs and Andy Wood & the Alamgam.

In addition to live music, ShipRocked 2014 will also feature a DJ set by Neil Sanderson of Three Days Grace and a comedy set from Big Jay Oakerson. Rock and roll dance troupe Hells Belles Burlesque will also perform and will be offering burlesque workshops during the cruise.

The bands are looking forward to the cruise. "We had a blast playing ShipRocked last year, and what better way to start off 2014 than cruising to the Caribbean?" asks Five Finger Death Punch frontman Ivan Moody. "It was such a cool experience getting to hang with our fans and we look forward to coming back and bringing our two new albums with us this time."

This will be Lacuna Coil's first experience on ShipRocked. “ShipRocked is going to be fantastic!" says vocalist Cristina Scabbia. "It is already kind of superfluous to say that a cruise from Miami to the Bahamas -- full of metal kids, great bands and outstanding food -- will be an experience I am incredibly excited to make, but can I also mention that I pretty much know all of the bands on board?"

"That means this will be a cruise with friends … and I just can't wait to make new ones!" Scabbia exclaims. "Get onboard with us, you know you guys will regret it if you'll miss it. Rock on!”
