Tracii GunsSunset Strip and '80s glam rock icons L.A. Guns are on a mission to re-release 1999's 'Shrinking Violet' as a deluxe version via Steve Vai's Favored Nations/Jiboom label on May 25. So don't be 'gun shy' about wanting two tickets to this 'gun show'! OK, OK; enough with the firearm puns.

What makes the reissue deluxe? Simple. Never-before-heard bonus tracks and repackaged artwork, which is standard for a reissue. But what's more interesting is how things came to be between Jiboom and these particular Guns. The re-release comes courtesy of a Facebook-generated conversation, as the Jiboom label launched when Vai hired industry vet Dean Schachtel to kickstart a hard rock/metal division.

Through thoroughly modern Facebook correspondence with L.A. Guns leader Tracii Guns, the deal happened, and the two forces paired up.

To support the deluxe reissue of 'Shrinking Violet,' Guns will embark on a world tour, which of course commences with an appearance at Los Angeles' Key Club on June 10.
