Korn will issue their new album 'The Paradigm Shift,' which follows 2011's EDM-flecked 'The Path of Totality,' on Oct. 1. The Bakersfield band has shared the track listing for the platter, the eleventh of its expansive catalog.

Korn will release the album, which is 11 songs strong, through Prospect Park after a pair of releases on Roadrunner, including 2010's 'Korn III – Remember Who You Are.'

'The Paradigm Shift' is incredibly important in the Korn catalog -- or "katalog" -- since it is the first album to feature original guitarist Brian "Head" Welch since 'Take a Look in the Mirror,' which landed 10 years ago in 2003. So it's certainly a critical moment in Korn's history. Welch left the band a decade ago and famously became a born again Christian.

No, former drummer David Silveria has not returned to the fold, but with Head back and contributing, fans can't help but believe that Korn will be getting back to basics, even if they are having a paradigm shift of sorts. Welch himself admitted as much in a recent interview, saying, "The end product is a really good mix of old Korn mixed with some new elements ... It’s my favorite album by Korn.”
