Korn have confirmed a handful of headline dates with guitarist Brian "Head" Welch, who very famously left the band and became a Born Again Christian, back in the lineup. Now if only they could convinced former drummer David Silveria to come out of retirement. Actually, Ray Luzier does a pretty bang up job behind the Korn kit, but we're feeling nostalgic!

Welch is also a member of Love and Death, a band he plays guitar in and also handles vocal duties.

The Korn-with-Head dates are as follows:

5/15 Belle Vernon, PA – Ice Garden Arena

5/18 Big Flats, NY – The Summer Stage At Tags

5/21 Silver Springs, MD – The Fillmore

5/22 Montclair, NJ – The Wellmont Theatre

5/23 Bethlehem, PA – Sands Bethlehem Event Center

5/25 St. Louis, MO – Peabody

AFI singer Dave Havok has just issued his novel Pop Kids and now, he is starring in a gentlemanly peta2 ad. The ad reveals: "I Am Davey Havok, and I Am a Vegan."

"I have wanted to live the healthiest lifestyle as possible. Being vegan is a part of that desire. To be able to consume foods that I know help my body, rather than destroy my body, and to avoid foods that are detrimental to my well-being," Havok said. "I began to look further into the animal rights aspect of it .... And if I really cared about the animals, for me, I needed to take that step into veganism. ... I'm happier when I'm true to what I believe in and true to what I know is right." [peta2]

Mike Portnoy, formerly of Dream Theater and currently a member of Adrenaline Mob, among other bands, will guest on the new album of prog powerhouse Bigelf. He will actually lend his extraordinary drum majesty to the record! The band has now signed with Inside Out. [Brave Words]

Andy Williams, guitarist extraordinaire for Every Time I Die, stars in a new Dr. Pepper ad for the company's "One of a Kind" promotion. He's a huge fan of the soft drink and even has a tattoo of the beverage on his arm. That's dedication! This two-minute clip demonstrates the lovable lug's passion for his job, the band and the bev. He says it best -- when most people clock out, he's plugging in...to an amp.
