Thanks for “nothing,” Korn! In fact, fans should be quite happy as Korn have polished off their latest album, titled The Nothing, which will arrive on Sept. 13 via Roadrunner / Elektra.

In announcing their new album, the band also unveiled a new single, “You’ll Never Find Me,” which can be heard in the player at the bottom of this post. The track feels like a perfect fit in the Korn canon, driven with distinctive drumming, unnerving keyboard parts and some killer quiet / heavy shifts. “I can’t take this / I make break it / Watch it all fall down,” sings Jonathan Davis, with the latter part being part of a recent tease of new music. He then unleashes into the chorus of “I’m lost / You’ll never find me.” The track is now available via all DSPs.

The band also paid off another social media tease, and what looked like a bunch of garbled up cable is actually a portion of the album art for the new record. This also plays in to the visualizer for “You’ll Never Find Me” in which the mess of cables appear to ensnare a human figure. See the album artwork and track listing just below the new song.

As for the new album, frontman Jonathan Davis explains, “Deep, within our Earth lives an extraordinary force. Very few are aware of the magnitude and significance of this place where good/evil, dark/light, bliss/torment, loss/gain and hope/despair all exist as one- pulling at us every moment of our lives. It’s not something we can choose to navigate, but rather an awareness of this ‘presence’ that surrounds us with every breath, as if we are being watched at every moment. It’s the place where black and white energies attach themselves to our souls, and shape our emotion, choices, perspective and ultimately our very existence. There is a miraculous and small realm within this vortex and it’s the only place where balance between these dynamic and polarizing forces exists — where the soul finds its refuge. Welcome to…..THE NOTHING.”

The album, which was produced by Nick Raskulinecz, is currently available to pre-order via the platform of your choosing here. You can also check out bundle options via the band’s website.

Korn had already announced plans for a late summer co-headline tour with Alice in Chains. Underoath will join the two acts and dates for the run can be viewed below. In addition, Ho99o9 and Fever 333 will be part of the bill and ticketing info can be found via Live Nation.
