Kittie drummer Mercedes Lander was home for a brief break from touring when Noisecreep chatted with her. She said, "I am going crazy, and it's hard to be home," since most musicians live for life on the road and the chance to play in front of fans. But while Lander is home, she and singer/guitarist sister Morgan will be enjoying a big holiday fete at their mom's crib.

"We will do a big dinner at my mom's house, where we all gather around her table and drink lots of red wine and eat delicious food and then stumble home," Lander said. "We all take cabs to and from. It's 12 to 15 of us at the dinner. It's just a bunch of kids and my mom cooking dinner. I am not sure if [guitarist Tara McLeod] is coming; it depends on her family's plans. Morgan and I will be at our mom's house getting drunk."

The celebration will take place after Christmas on Boxing Day, which is a Canadian holiday.
