KISS frontman Paul Stanley has released a video on the band's website revealing that the make-up wearing marauders are working on a follow-up to 2009's 'Sonic Boom' album. "This album leaves 'Sonic Boom' in the dust," Stanley said. "So this is awesome, and you'll be hearing it soon."

The new album is scheduled to be released later this year.

Since KISS are known for playing at high decibels in concert, Stanley also offered fans some practical tips on how on how to protect their hearing. And no, it's not KISS-branded earplugs!
