What's Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz expecting on this summer's second annual RockStar Energy Mayhem Festival? "Lawn chairs, sunshine, beer, cookouts, farting, triple-digit temperatures, and dirty, dirty kids," says Dutkiewicz, who co-produced the band's forthcoming self-titled album with Brendan O'Brien.

"Yeah, I'm sure the tour will come through on all of those counts, and more," adds frontman Howard Jones, with a hearty guffaw.

If any band would know, its Killswitch Engage. They're no strangers to the summer festival circuit, having played two Ozzfests, Sounds of the Underground, and Kevin Lyman's other traveling musical circus, Warped Tour, and with a new album in stores June 30, the band is psyched about this summer's Mayhem bill, which features Slayer, Marilyn Manson, Trivium, Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse and others.

But it isn't just the tour that the band are excited for, it's all the extracurricular activities that'll likely go down once the weather gets hot, and the boys return to the bus for another few months of coast-to-coast mile-logging.

"There will be band wiffle ball this summer," Dutkiewicz declared during a recent visit to the Noisecreep offices in downtown New York. "And lots of television and movie watching. Gaming." According to the Killswitch dudes, there are some things they can't live without on tour -- Xbox 360 war games, the Travel Channel's 'Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations,' 'The Dog Whisperer,' and two DVDs: the 2006 films 'Grandma's Boys' and 'Idiocracy.'

"We've already watched both of those movies twice on this [Disturbed] tour," Dutkiewicz admits, before launching into some of the films' dialogue: "I can't believe you came on my mom."

On off dates this summer, the band plans to seek out summer-specific activities. Depending on where the tour takes them, drummer Justin Foley says the guys will sometimes hit up the nearest amusement park or even catch one of the summer's blockbusters.

"We're going to try and get to some ball games this summer," Foley says. "We're going to try to sneak a stadium tour in." Foley and Dutkiewicz team up for games whenever they can, and are hoping to visit Seattle's Safeco Field, Baltimore's Camden Yards, Cleveland's Jacobs Field, and Chicago's Wrigley Field; Foley is a New York Yankees fan, and Adam likes his hometown team, the Red Sox. "We pretty much hate each other and want to punch each other constantly," Dutkiewicz says.

If you want to find Howard Jones on his day's off this summer, just head to the nearest fishing hole. "There are certain places you know of, that are near our tour stops, and you just mozy on over," says Jones, who has been fishing since he was a kid, but has gotten "completely and utterly" obsessed with it the last few years. "I'll be bringing my tackle box on this bus with me this summer."
