Killswitch Engage drummer Justin Foley reports unfortunate unsportsmanlike behavior from XBox Live gold members when they played 'Madden NFL 09' against them. A little intimidation from the virtual playing field never hurt anyone -- even your favorite band -- and would've only added to the fun.

"I expected a lot more trash talking from the kids, or I expected to go against bigger game nerds because I hadn't even played that particular game before. And I actually won two of the games," says Foley.

Did he win against 8-year-olds? "Maybe, maybe. But so what? I won," he laughs. Actually, Foley admits that he doesn't know the sex or age of his opponents.

On July 29, XBox Live gold members sent a 'friend request' to a gamertag and were asked to be online half an hour before the XBox Live Game with Fame session was set to start.

"You have the headphones, and you talk to people as you're doing it," says Foley. "We had a representative there going through the basics and setting up the game, so all I pretty much had to do was play it. We just randomly picked people to play against."

He thinks the rep either picked screen names he recognized or people who had been online for a long time. "It was fun," says Foley. "The games are quick. So to get more games in, we played only 'til half time and two-minute quarters or something like that. So very very quick games. We got four of them in. It was good."
