Killer Be Killed Unveil ‘Snakes of Jehovah’ Video

If you have ophidiophobia, you may be creeped out by Killer Be Killed's latest video from their self-titled debut album. But if you don't have a fear of snakes, check out 'Snakes of Jehovah' via Decibel above.

The video appears to have been recorded in the same space as the band's last clip 'Wings of Feather and Wax.' Directed by Thomas Mignone of Doom, Inc. (Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold, System of a Down), the video intersperses footage of the band performing with images of a woman and snakes.

Like the rest of the album, 'Snakes of Jehovah' features the snarls of Max Cavalera (Soulfly) contrasted by the melodic singing of Troy Sanders (Mastodon), with Greg Puciato (Dillinger Escape Plan) providing both singing and screaming. The quartet's lineup is rounded out by drummer Dave Elitch (ex-The Mars Volta).

In an interview with Metal Assault, Cavalera talked about the songwriting process for the album: "Troy wrote ‘Save The Robots’ and ‘Forbidden Fire’, and me and Greg wrote ‘Snakes of Jehovah’ and everything else that’s on the record. So it was a group collaboration and we also brought Dave in on everything we did. So overall it was really fun and everybody really did their best to make this the coolest record possible."

Cavalera continues, "I think it shows that everybody tried real hard to make it good. I think the coolest stuff I’ve ever heard from Greg on vocals is on this record, actually, even beyond what he does on The Dillinger Escape Plan."
