Junius, ‘Betray the Grave’: Exclusive Video Premiere

Secret Service PR

If you hung out Noisecreep’s office in the last few months, you would be well-acquainted with Junius. Last year, the Boston-based quartet’s Reports From the Threshold of Death album wowed rock critics with its alluring blend of post-rock atmospherics and metallic muscle. It’s no wonder we included it on our ‘Best Metal Albums of 2011‘ list.

Formed in 2003, Junius have released a slew of EPs and two studio albums to date. Fans of Isis, Alcest and Deftones should not miss out on this band.

It’s with a heart full of pride that Noisecreep brings you the exclusive premiere of “Betray the Grave,” the new video from Junius. The song comes off the aforementioned Reports From the Threshold of Death album.

“We’re excited to finally unveil this piece we’ve been working on with the exceptionally talented Toshadeva Palani,” guitarist Michael Repasch-Nieves tells Noisecreep about their “Betray the Grave” video. “We’ve held off from making a video for years just because it never felt right. Upon meeting Tosha, it was clear that we had met someone who shared our desire to make something transcendent. We worked together on the concept and then Tosha just ran with it and made something amazing that we’re quite proud to share.”
