Judas Priest Unleash Full Version of New Single ‘March of the Damned’

Great news to report! Judas Priest have just unleashed the first official single from the upcoming album, ‘Redeemer of Souls.’ After exclusively teasing the track on Loudwire last week, the full version of ‘March of the Damned’ is now available for your listening pleasure and will likely leave you drooling for more new Priest anthems.

A few weeks ago, Judas Priest unleashed the title track from their 17th studio album, which will be released on July 15. The song ‘Redeemer of Souls‘ is pretty epic, and if you’re a fan of that new Priest cut, chances are you’ll dig ‘March of the Damned,’ as well.

‘March of the Damned’ isn’t as vocally driven as ‘Redeemer of Souls.’ Instead, ‘March of the Damned’ is very heavy on the guitar work of Glenn Tipton and new Priest shredder Richie Faulkner. Judas Priest have always been heavily inspired by Black Sabbath, and fans will pick up on that influence immediately, but on top of Priest’s heavy riffing, ‘March of the Damned’ features some blistering solos that’ll give you an old-fashioned eargasm.

“‘March of the Damned’ is really one of my favorite songs,” says Tipton in a video clip preceding the song. “It’s just simple, straight to the point. It’s not really a song about zombies or ‘The Walking Dead.’ It also has a reference to all the kids that come to our concerts, that march along and can’t be stopped.”

Tipton continues about the ‘Redeemer of Souls’ album, “Sometimes in the past we may have come under fire for being too adventurous musically – so we have listened!! From start to finish ‘Redeemer of Souls’ is 13 songs of pure classic Priest metal!!”
