UPDATE: The following video interview was recorded on Aug. 8 at the Anaheim stop of the All Stars Tour. Just this morning, the news got out that Craig was kicked off the tour under a fog of controversy. We’ll keep you updated as the details come in, but here is our original interview with Craig, untouched.

Jonny Craig is one of this current music scene’s true survivors.

After several well-publicized harrowing bouts with drugs that resulted in jail time, Craig has returned to the fold fronting Dance Gavin Dance. The band is currently one of the headliners on the 2012 All Stars Tour, playing alongside Suicide Silence, The Word Alive and I See Stars, among many others).

Noisecreep had a chance to visit with Craig backstage before the recent Anaheim show where Craig talked about what’s it’s been like to get back on stage and reclaim his life.
